Resources to Help You Heal
Carefully gathered tools, words, and practices to support you wherever you are on your healing journey.
Words to Return To
Read them slowly. Let them land. Come back whenever you need a reminder of who you are.
Where to Begin
Morning Pages
Write three pages of longhand stream-of-consciousness first thing in the morning. No editing, no rereading — just let it flow. This practice clears the mental clutter and creates space for clarity.
The Body Scan
Lie down and slowly bring your attention to each part of your body from your feet to the crown of your head. Notice without judgement. This practice reconnects you to the body that has carried you through everything.
The Unsent Letter
Write a letter to someone — or to a version of yourself — that you will never send. Say everything you have never been able to say. Burn it, shred it, or keep it. The act of writing is the healing.
Grief Rituals
Create a small ritual to honour what you have lost — a relationship, a version of yourself, a dream. Light a candle, play a song, hold an object. Grief needs a container. Give it one.
The Inner Child Letter
Write a letter from your present self to the child you once were. Tell them what you wish someone had told you. Tell them they were not to blame. Tell them they are loved.
Boundary Setting Practice
Each day, identify one small boundary you can set — with your time, your energy, or your attention. Boundaries are not walls. They are the edges of your self-respect.
Articles to Sit With
Why Healing Is Not Linear (And That Is Okay)
We are sold a story that healing looks like a straight line — that one day you will wake up fixed. The truth is messier, more beautiful, and far more human than that.
The Difference Between Self-Care and Self-Love
Bubble baths and face masks are lovely. But real self-love is the harder, quieter work of choosing yourself when it is inconvenient, uncomfortable, and unpopular.
What Nobody Tells You About Leaving a Toxic Relationship
Leaving is not the end of the story. It is the beginning of a much longer, more complicated one — and it is worth every difficult step.
You Don't Have to Do This Alone
These resources are a starting point. The real healing happens in community — with people who understand, who have been there, and who will walk beside you.
