I Know What It Feels Like to Lose Yourself
This is not a polished story. It is a real one.
The Breaking Point
There was a time when I didn't recognise myself. I had spent so many years shrinking, people-pleasing, and swallowing my pain that I forgot what it felt like to take up space. I was surviving — but I wasn't living. The breaking point didn't come all at once. It came slowly, then all at once, the way most things do.
The Long Walk Back
Healing wasn't a straight line. There were days I felt like I was finally free, and days I felt like I was right back at the beginning. I tried therapy, journaling, long walks, and a lot of crying in the shower. What I didn't have was a community of people who truly understood — who had been in the dark and found their way back to the light.
Why I Built This
Love Yourself Baby was born from a simple, stubborn belief: that no one should have to heal alone. I built the space I needed and couldn't find. A place without toxic positivity or quick fixes. A place where your pain is honoured, your story is held with care, and your healing is celebrated — no matter how messy or non-linear it looks.
What I Believe
I believe that you are worthy of healing — not when you've fixed yourself, not when you've earned it, but right now, exactly as you are. I believe that love — fierce, honest, unconditional self-love — is the most radical act of healing there is. And I believe that when we share our stories, we give others permission to begin theirs.
You didn't come this far to only come this far.
If any part of my story sounds like yours, you are in the right place. Welcome home.
